Grand Coulee Dam and Laser Light Show
A brief one-hour drive will bring you to the largest hydroelectricity facility in North America. The Dam controls the water of the Columbia Basin and forms the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. Enjoy exhibits, power plant tours, fishing, boating, hiking and cycling fun at this grand National Park.
The Laser Light Show tells the riveting story of the Columbia River against the backdrop of the face of the Grand Coulee Dam while you watch sitting on bleachers or on the field below the Dam.

Lake Lenore Caves State Park
A scant 15 miles away from Sunny Springs, prehistoric man took shelter in the overhangs, crevices and caverns of the Lenore caves. The caves are geographically unique from being formed by water eroding the basalt entombed in the canyon walls. This is must walk for hikers.
A few miles away is Splashzone. Complete with water slides for the adventurous (and not so adventurous), this water park has a kiddie zone, a diving tank and a full complement of food and beverages.
Central Washington Wineries
A vintner’s force coming into its own, the Columbia Valley wine growing region boasts over 36 wineries along the mid-Columbia River. They include White Heron Cellars, Karma Vineyards and Cascadia Winery.
